1- WHAT IS THE USUAL DELIVERY LEADTIME?
The popular items are in stock. Our lead time is usually between 3 to 5 weeks depending on the models. Please look at the delivery lead-time on the quotation form that was sent or emailed to your attention.

2- CAN WE PAY BY CREDIT CARD?
If your department requires your order to be paid by credit card, it is possible to do so up to a maximum amount of $5000.USD.

3- WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REFURBISHING AND REFINING FOR THE LABWARE?
The laboratory ware is refined when the material is no longer suitable for any further testing. The items are credited for the value of the net content of precious metals based on the assay results. It is not necessary to purchase any new items if you wish to sell your used metals. We credit the platinum, gold, rhodium and the palladium.

The items can be refurbished when it still possible to reshape, re-polish and possibly repair the items even when there is a small perforation.

4- CAN WE ASK FOR SPECIFIC SIZES OF CRUCIBLES OR DISHES?
The standard shape and the wide base crucibles as well as most of the dishes are offered in many diameters and heights. It is possible for you to order a specific weight, or have the height trimmed by a few mm, or modify the wall thickness.

5- CAN WE AVOID ANY FUND SPENDING FOR THE VALUE OF A NEW ORDER BY SIMPLY TRADE SOME USED METALS?
Absolutely! We can help you to estimate how much used metals will be necessary to cover the whole value for the new items. The amounts represent a credit for the used metals that equals the addition of the metals price and the fabrication charges of the new items.

6- ARE THERE ANY DISCOUNT POLICIES FOR THE DISTRIBUTORS?
Our discount policy applies on the manufacturing charges when six items or more are ordered at the same time. As for the metals prices, we still need to follow the fluctuations of the 2nd London Fix?s markets. The zirconium and porcelain crucibles are also subjected to discounts.

7- HOW CAN WE CONTACT KITCO?S REPRESENTATIVES AROUND THE WORLD?
At this moment all transactions are processed through our Kitco's Corporate Office in Montreal, Canada. We can answer your emails inquiries in many languages (English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, and Japanese). We believe Quality Control is better monitored when all operations are centralized whilst keeping our overhead costs down. Our competitiveness remains a top priority.
